PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY
Tom is a doctor and accredited cognitive behavioural therapist (BABCP) with a specialist interest in OCD. He works with clients experiencing intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviours, and anxiety that feels difficult to control. While he also supports a range of anxiety-related difficulties, his primary focus is helping people break free from OCD and reclaim their lives.
Tom’s approach is structured, collaborative and focused on meaningful change. Drawing on both medical and psychological expertise, he helps clients understand what is maintaining their difficulties and what needs to change to overcome them. His work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including behavioural approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which are highly effective for OCD. Sessions are practical, supportive and tailored to your individual goals, with a clear emphasis on recovery rather than simply coping. Tom offers a free initial consultation (15–20 minutes), followed by 50-minute sessions delivered online or in person. Sessions are £60, with an initial commitment of four sessions recommended to begin the process.
If you’re interested in starting therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch via the Contact page. Please include a brief outline of what you’d like support with and your availability for an initial consultation.
